Viavo for press
Viavo is a tap-to-talk AI voice assistant for drivers on iPhone and CarPlay. Press one button on the car screen, say what you need in your own words, and Viavo does it and answers out loud, with a native voice, in 28 languages.
Why it exists
Siri on CarPlay still doesn’t speak Polish, Czech, Romanian, Greek, Hungarian, Croatian, Serbian or Ukrainian. Drivers there either talk to their car in English or don’t talk to it at all. The chatbot apps that came to CarPlay mostly talk: in ZDNET’s test, ChatGPT and Perplexity couldn’t place a call, send a message or play music. Viavo speaks all of these languages and twenty more, understands everyday speech rather than fixed commands, and does the task.
Viavo is made by a small team in Serbia.
